Do you gamble, play video games or watch porn to excess? Are you compulsively shopping online? Do you find hard to physically stop checking Facebook? Is your online behaviour interfering with your daily life, your relationships, work, or school then you may be suffering from an online addiction.

We are encouraged to connect with each other through social media but do not realise has isolated it can actually make us which drives the desire to “hook up”, connect, chase the thrill so that we can live the perfect life that we believe everybody else is having. This can be very damaging to own relationships as we purchase, gamble, watch online, communicate by our phones and recede into minds rather than making those really important physical contacts with our partners, children and friends.

Approach:

Without advocating throwing away all electronic goods and moving to a desert islands, I will help you begin the process of taking back control of your life. These solutions, because they are intrinsic to you are more likely to succeed and endure than solutions imposed externally. My role is to ensure that the agreed plan is achieved within the resources available. Progress is monitored and adjustments made, along with a debrief meeting at the end to evaluate successes and lessons learned. Each plan is therefore unique with the introductory session being a very important part of establishing the process.
